Samsung ATIV Smart PC Price In Singapore - Days after announcing the Samsung Series 5 Touch Ultra, the Korean company has divulged the cost of owning its Ativ series of computers in Singapore.
Consisting of the Ativ Smart PC Pro and the Ativ Smart PC, this series of Windows 8 devices all come with 11.6-inch touchscreens, detachable keyboards that allow them to switch between laptop and tablet modes, and Samsung's S-Pen accessory. However, the Ativ Smart PC Pro runs Windows 8 Pro, while the Ativ Smart PC is loaded with standard 32-bit Windows 8.

Of the two, the Ativ Smart PC Pro has the better hardware in the form of an Intel Core i5 processor and a 128GB SSD. It also has a full-HD IPS panel and supports both Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity. But, it is rather hefty at around 878g (without the keyboard) and the battery life is rated at 8 hours compared with 13.5 hours on the Ativ Smart PC.
Meanwhile, the Ativ Smart PC is powered by an Intel Atom chip with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It's slightly slimmer than the Smart PC Pro, weighing around 761g.

The Samsung Ativ Smart PC Pro will be available from October 26. Samsung ATIV Smart PC Price In Singapore at S$2,199, inclusive of the keyboard accessory. However, you'll have to wait till November to get the Ativ Smart PC, which will come in Wi-Fi and 3G editions, Samsung ATIV Smart PC Price In Singapore at S$1,149 and S$1,299 respectively. Samsung doesn't bundle the keyboard with the Ativ Smart PC--it's sold separately at S$189.
