Samsung Galaxy S4 phone is official. And we've had a chance to get a hands-on review, a look at the new features, take some pictures and get all the information on the official release date and specs.
Due for release in the UK on April 26th, Samsung emphasised a number of key features on the Galaxy S4: New features on Samsung Galaxy S4, enhanced camera, Smart Pause and Smart Scroll technology, Air View and Air Gesture, S Translator, S Health, a fitness app built-in, and Group Play wireless music connectivity with other Galaxy S4 phones.
Samsung Galaxy S4 design, Slimmer, more portable, more powerful" was the word from Samsung. The Galaxy S4 is lighter, slimmer and thinner than the Galaxy S3, but the same length. The full dimensions are 136.6mm x 69.8mm x 7.9mm (the Galaxy S3 is 136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6 mm).

Physically, the GS4 didn't get any bigger. In fact, it even sports a thinner build and weighs a hair lighter. But with a slimmer bezel, its 5-inch full HD Super AMOLED touch screen had room to expand, and the display now sports a higher pixel density.
Also new is its quad- or octo-core processor. Similar to the situation when the GS3 debuted, what CPU is available will depend on where you live.
Both cameras also got a bump, with the rear shooter jumping from 8-megapixel to 13-megapixel. Other changes include running the newer Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean (as expected), a beefed up battery, and a slew of new software features.
The weight of the S4 is 120g, compared to 133g on the S3, and it certainly feels light. Available in black mist or white frost, it looksa more premium product than the S3. However, the familiar plastic casing on the rear of the device is still present and correct. And side by side, the S3 and S4 do look very similar.
